Mojia HIFU 3in1 features three modes and five intensity levels with advanced technology to help accelerate collagen regeneration which helps tighten and firm skin.
Stockist of the original Mojia HIFU is a 3in1 device.
Using advanced technology for superior treatments in skin rejuvenation.
This is non-invasive and studies have shown HIFU to be effective for anti-aging treatment.

Hifu and radiofrequency (RF) are two very popular technologies for treating anti-aging. After the age of 25 our collagen production decreases by about 1 percent each year. Collagen is one of the most important substances in our body and is key to the preservation of skin firmness and elasticity. Type 1 collagen which represents 80%-90% is the main collagen found in skin.
Type 3 collagen is typically found alongside Type 1 and represents up to 15% of skin collagen.
Collagen is produced by cells called fibroblasts which also produce elastin which gives skin its flexibility.
When the fibroblasts become less active, collagen production declines and elastin fibres become thinner, this means our skin is less elastic which leads to sagging and wrinkling.
HIFU is High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound, it uses ultrasound technology that directly acts on the SMAS layer promoting it to continuously produce new fascia cells.
HIFU creates energy and heat at a deep level in the skin, this accelerates blood circulation, and collagen regeneration. This non-invasive treatment is a safe and effective therapy for the treatment of lifting skin to the face and neck, and reducing lines and wrinkles.
It might seem counterproductive to direct heat to the skin cells in order to damage them however by doing this the body sets out to repair them by producing collagen to aid in cell growth. We need collagen, it is a protein that makes up 75% of our skin, it is the structure that is essential in keeping our skin from sagging, giving us that plump and youthful look.
Radiofrequency is a non-surgical method of skin tightening. This treatment uses radiofrequency energy waves to penetrate and heat the deeper layer of the dermis. The heat stimulates fibroblasts, promoting blood flow, and collagen production.
EMS is not the same as microcurent. EMS (Electrical Muscle Stimulation) provides deeper muscle stimulation. EMS causes muscles to contract on command. This is an effective facial treatment that lifts and tightens skin. We do however recommend microcurrent for delicate areas
EMS can be used in conjunction with Hifu, RF, and microcurrent.
Hifu (High Intensity Focused Ultrasound) is a noninvasive treatment that uses focused ultrasound energy and heat to target layers up to 4.5mm beneath the surface reaching the SMAS. The concentrated heat damages targeted skin cells, creating controlled injury without affecting the surrounding tissue or skin. As the skin heals and repairs it induces production of new collagen and elastin which improves the skins texture.
Hifu promotes lifting and tightening, reduces wrinkles, and shrinks pores. It is the best choice for tightening loose skin around the jowls, jawline, and under the chin.
Radiofrequency uses energy waves to heat the deeper layers (3mm) beneath the epidermis to the dermis, stimulating to produce more collagen and elastin.
Using Bipolar radiofrequency, heat is applied to the skin by bulk heating. Unlike Hifu where it is targeted heating.
The middle plate is RF as are the electrodes positioned on either side.
Radiofrequency should be considered for addressing volume loss, and more delicate areas such as drooping eyelids.
EMS (Electrical Muscle Stimulation) uses electrical currents that go deeper in the muscle and the stronger currents (on the higher levels) cause the muscle to contract. EMS is ideal for the lower face such as jowls, jawline, neck and under chin. EMS helps firm, contour and lift, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
The EMS electrodes are positioned either side of the round plate. The electrical currents are delivered through the electrodes to stimulate the muscle under the skin.
1.5mm – Targets the epidermis of the skin to refine pores, improve skin tone, and reduce fine lines.
3mm – Targets the tissues beneath the epidermis to the deep dermis, to produce more collagen and elastin.
4.5mm – Directly accesses the SMAS fascia layer through heat creating controlled injury which induces new collagen and elastin.
6mm – Dissolves the fat deposits underneath the shallow layers of the skin.
9mm – Specifically targets stubborn fat deposits
13mm – Strengthens skin adhesion through lipolysis to increase collagen production.
IPL and Laser target the epidermis and superficial dermis.
The Mojia Hifu RF mode reaches the deeper dermis and the Hifu mode reaches the SMAS but does not go deeper.
Hifu is a targeted treatment, whereas RF is bulk heating as seen in the diagram.
Most EMS units share the same parameters for adjustment. These are: Frequency, Pulse Width and Amplitude.
Electrical Stimulation Parameters
The first parameter is Frequency which refers to the number of stimulation pulses delivered per second, measured in Hertz (Hz). There are usually three adjustments being:
EMS devices will usually be in the range of 0-70Hz
The second parameter is Pulse width which refers to the length of time each group of pulses of stimulation is set to, measured in microseconds (us). There are usually three adjustments being:
The third parameter is Amplitude which is also referred to as intensity. This is the milliamps delivered and it needs to be high enough to be affective but it needs to remain comfortable in the process.
It is the strength of the stimulation delivered, measured in milliamps (mA). The amplitude needs to be high enough to evoke the desired affect while still remaining comfortable. There are usually two adjustments being:
A high amplitude can feel quite intolerable.
Studies have shown that high frequencies and high amplitude induce a stronger muscle contraction, but also lead to quick muscle fatigue and depletion of ATP.
The EMS in this device has been designed for use on facial muscles. Facial muscles are different to skeletal muscles of the body. Facial muscles attach directly to the skin, not to tendons or bones. The parameters don’t need to be as high to be effective, we don’t want a high frequency of 100Hz as that will cause muscle fatigue quickly, and we don’t need a pulse width of higher than 200us as targeting larger muscle groups is not the aim. Treatment should not be a painful experience and higher milliamps may not only cause pain or discomfort, it also causes muscles to fatigue quickly. Stronger is not always better when it comes to the face.
The Mojia Hifu 3 in 1 has medium frequency (20-60HZ), low pulse width (50-200us), and low amplitude mA (0-100mA).
